She graduated from Arizona State University where she received her bachelor's degree in English Literature Creative Writing and her minor in Film Production. She has visited 7 foreign countries, and has a goal of visiting all the countries of the world before she dies. Sckylar works at a production studio in Scottsdale, Arizona, and spends her free time writing, painting, and watching movies with her fiance, Mikey, and their two dogs, Rocky and Luna.
